Ivy Vanderheyden SAS

After acquiring a master in Germanic Languages at the university of Leuven, I completed my academic background with a degree in Multilingual Business Communication at the University of Ghent in collaboration with the Vlerick School of Management.

The only constant in my job is the passion for B2B marketing. Throughout the years, I have gained a lot of experience in different industries as well as in different organizations and aspects of Marketing. From branding, lead generation to direct marketing, advertising and internal communication. I have always worked in a team and have over 10 years’ experience in Marketing Management, Strategy and People Management in the world of artificial intelligence and analytics.

After starting in a Communications agency, followed by 5 years in Transport and Logistics, my professional path led me to the world of Big Data and Intelligence. In 2007 I started as Marketing Manager at Cognos, a BI specialist acquired by IBM in 2009. One year later SAS hired me as their Marketing Director. In the 8 years at SAS I have had many opportunities to learn and grow in my job, leading to my current role as Marketing Director Go to Market South West Europe.
