    Leaders-for-a-Day 2016

    [19 October 2016 – Brussels, Belgium]  35 young leaders from 19 European countries, recipients of the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass, got the chance to step in the shoes of business and policy leaders for one day. Organised by JA Europe in cooperation with AmChamEU, and supported by ManpowerGroup and Microsoft, the initiative provides young people who have completed the JA Company Programme and obtained the ESP certification with the opportunity to learn from a top-leader by shadowing him/her during an entire working day.

    [6 October 2016 - Online] 50 students that received the ESP from 15 European countries participated in the webinar delivered by the HR Director EMEA at Ralph Lauren, Patricia Lajara, and organized by JA Europe. 

  • European Vocational Skills Week

    European Vocational Skills Week

    The Second European Vocational Skills Week organised by the European Commission will take place in Brussels on 20-24 November 2017. ESP holders are encouraged to participate and share their learning experiences in the different sessions during the event. If you are interested in participating and you have a good level of English, then you apply by sending an email to judit(at)jaeurope.org with a short introduction and contact details before the 15th October. Good news is that the travel and accommodation in Brussels are covered by the organisers.

    [26-27 May 2016 – Venice, Italy] 85 girls who successfully passed the ESP exam participated in the Microsoft European event Girlz in Tech. The event provided the participants with the opportunity to learn about careers in technology, to discover their potential in the field and to take part in hands-on workshops.

    [26 January & 18 February 2016 - Online] More than 140 students and teachers involved in the ESP across Europe participated in two webinars organised by ManpowerGroup in cooperation with JA Europe. The webinars aimed at presenting and discussing how to work better in a team and effectively manage different roles.  

  • Enterprise 2020 Summit

    Enterprise 2020 Summit

    [16-17 November 2016 - Brussels, Belgium] Tilde Dahlmann, a JA Europe alumna from Denmark, got the opportunity to sit side by side to Jo Deblaere, COO of Accenture, and take part in the plenary session of the Enterprise 2020 Summit, which formally launched the European Pact for Youth. Tilde has successfully received her ESP in 2015, which allowed her to participate at Leaders-for-a-Day in Brussels and join the Enterprise 2020 Summit a month later. During the event, another ESP holder had the unique opportunity of joining a private meeting with HRH Philippe, King of Belgium. As alumni of the JA Company Programme, ESP holders and winners of the 2015 JA Europe Company of the Year Competition, 5 representatives of the student-company RAUTECK were able to participate in the event by presenting their mini-company experience and showing their products to the audience.

    Academy Cube

    [Ongoing - Online] Academy Cube is a platform that combines e-learning with the job hunt. ESP holders can register to the platform and use it to access free online courses on various interesting topics related to business, industry and IT. After completing a programme, the user receives a course certificate that will increase his/her chances on the job market.
