The ESP reached Turkey in 2016!

15 February 2016

As of 15th February, JA Europe and JA Turkey (Genç Başarı Eğitim Vakfı), together with other six education and business associations, will join forces to implement the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP) in Turkey, with a particular focus on two cities: Istanbul and Izmir.

The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey under the umbrella of the Civil Society Dialogue Programme. Besides improving the dialogue between Europe and Turkey around Entrepreneurship, the project will drive a more constructive collaboration between key players within the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in Turkey.
By building on the successful experience that other European countries are having by offering ESP as a qualification for mini-company students, the consortium aim to:

  • Increase the number of students involved in entrepreneurship education in Turkey,
  • Support and help teachers to be more entrepreneurial and improve their teaching practices,
  • Engage businesses to coach the students during the programme and offer the successful ones further opportunities.
